I mentioned a few weeks back that I’ve been working on a tea-themed e-book and I’m pleased (and relieved) to finally unveil it. Although a whole lot of time and work (and most importantly, eating) was involved in putting this 15-recipe e-book together, it was a very enjoyable experience. Unlike writing and photographing a book for a publisher – as I did with Crave Eat Heal – I could take my time, stop when inspiration dried up, tweak the photos as many times as I wanted/needed and design the book exactly as I wanted. I’m all about control!
I’ve been a tea drinker since I was in my late teens and I have way more tea in my pantry than any person should. But…for me a hot cup of tea is often the answer to a situation that needs some deep thought – or it’s the perfect accompaniment to not wanting to think at all. So it felt natural for me to create recipes that were inspired by my love of tea and the versatility of it – both in its dry and liquid forms. In the book I highlight three kinds of tea: black, matcha, and herbal. All 15 recipes (+1 bonus chai tea blend) are plant-based, oil-free, nut-free and low in sugar (I use a sugar-stevia blend in some recipes). I’ve covered all the bases, too – breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacking, and dessert.

Oh my, you’ve been a busy bee!
I’m getting this just for that banana mini doughnut recipe alone and I’m sure the others won’t disappoint
Looks spectacularly classy and fun!
It was fun – – being able to take all the time I wanted/needed. Plus working on a subject close to my heart: tea!
I’ve wanted to do something like this with coffee!! I don’t know if I really have the patience or dedication though. I’ll have to pick your brain on our adventure together. Congratulations on another book, you amaze me.
That’s a great idea! Yes, let’s chat about it In Person :-)!
That is great news for us all! I love using tea in cakes, etc! I am a new matcha lover & wanted to get recipes using it! MMMMMMM! Beautiful cover too! xxx
Thanks, lady! How fun to learn you also use tea in recipes!
Hello! I’m already subscribed to your wonderful blog–have been for about a year, I think–but how would I get TEAse Me? Also, thanks for being such an inspiration 🙂
Hi Kiki – Thank YOU for following my blog and for the kind words. I really appreciate your support. I’m always looking for ways to improve my content and to draw in readers and one of those ways is by creating e-books now and again. I’m hoping that TEAse Me will attract new subscribers who then come back to spend time on my blog enjoying the recipes and posts. Call it incentive! By also making it available for sale, I can recoup a little bit of the cost of the time and effort I put into An Unrefined Vegan. If TEAse Me sounds like something you’d like, then I encourage you to purchase it (http://unrefinedvegan.com/product/tease-15-tempting-plant-based-recipes-inspired-worlds-favorite-beverage/) – or – if you have another email address you can always subscribe to the blog again and receive the e-book for free. But you didn’t hear that from me ;-)!
